No matter CVD status, an increased proportion of those taking aspirin reported a discussion about aspirin with their doctor in comparison to those not using aspirin. Among members without any CVD, those who had such a discussion were 2.6 times very likely to utilize aspirin than those just who didn’t have a conversation (aRR 2.64, 95 % CI 1.58, 4.44). The results of this research stress the importance of the patient-provider relationship for preventive therapy.
